Reception Baseline Assessment (RBA)
The RBA is a statutory assessment that has come into effect from September 2021. The RBA is a short, activity-based assessment and will be a baseline for measuring the progress primary schools make with their pupils from Reception to Year 6. Miss Orr will carry out the assessment on a 1-2-1 basis and will record results on the Baseline ePortal (BeP).
Miss Orr will arrange parent meetings after conducting the RBA. This will be a great opportunity to discuss your child's baseline assessment, progress and their first half-term in Reception more generally. Please see attachment below for more information.
