Nursery 2022 - 2023
Welcome To Our Nursery
"Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words, but by experiences in the enviornment." (Maria Montessori)
At St. George's we understand how important the early years are in shaping the person each child will become. We wish for our children to be confident learners, who gain knowledge through experiences and experimentation, through communicating their ideas and thoughts,in a setting that nurtures their own innate curiosity to learn, within the comfort of experienced and caring staff, who endeavour to provide each child with the very best educational start.
We love to learn through practical, fun and meaningful experiences. We focus on developing core skills to help us as future learners. We spend lots of time outdoors developing our physical skills, bodily control and co-ordination.
We will aim to post regular photographs and updates on our twitter page @StGeorgesL31
We will be providing a snack for the children on a daily basis. We appreciate a donation of £10 at the beginning of each half term towards the cost of snack.
Every day is an open day and we would be delighted to share our practice with you. If you would like to visit us, please contact Mrs. Jones, via the school office.
