Reading

Please encourage your child to read at home every night. Listening to them read a few pages from their home reading book regularly makes a big difference to their confidence and progress.

Spellings

Spellings are set weekly on Spelling Shed and can be accessed from home. Children should continue to practise Stage 3 and 4 spellings whilst beginning to learn Stage 5 and 6 spellings.

These spelling lists can also be found in the 'Files to Download' section at the bottom of this page.

Maths Homework

Maths homework is set on Mathletics every Friday and should be completed by the following Friday.

PE and Swimming

• PE: Tuesday – children should wear their PE kit.

• Swimming: Wednesday until Christmas – children should wear their PE kit and bring their swimming belongings.

Cookie & Cake Friday

Our Cookie & Cake sale takes place every Friday morning to help raise money for our school fund. Payments can be made through the school app weekly, half-termly or termly.

Labelling Belongings

Please ensure that all of your child's belongings are clearly labelled with their name. We encourage children to take responsibility for their belongings, but labelling items makes it much easier to return anything that gets misplaced.
