At St. George's, we follow White Rose Maths from Early Years to Year 6. The White Rose Maths scheme for Reception is carefully designed to support early mathematical understanding and problem solving with numbers to 20. Within each week of lessons, teaching focuses on a variety of mathematical concepts to encourage mastery and mathematical thinking from an early age.
Please note: We will be using Numberblocks as a main teaching resource for our Maths lessons so please refrain from watching episodes ahead of teaching weeks. Feel free to repeat taught episodes at home to reinforce learning and discuss your child's magic maths! Thank you for your cooperation.
