Important information

PE Day- Y6 take part in PE on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. They are asked to come into school wearing their PE kits on these days.

Homework

Spellings are sent home every Monday to be learnt for the test each Friday. Please ensure that your child spends a few minutes each night learning these spellings. They can use the website Spelling Shed to help them to become confident at spelling both the weekly spellings and the statutory spellings.

As the children are now in Year 6, they will also receive written homework each Monday to be returned by Friday.

Maths, SPaG, Reading and Science homework assignments will be set on Century Tech. The children also have courses allocated to practise their learning. The path is unique to each child and will generate learning in the areas that they find tricky. The children should spend 15 minutes every evening on Century Tech.

Reading- Every pupil has a reading book from our scheme. It is very important that they dedicate a bit of time each evening for reading. Y6 should be reading a minimum of 2 books per week

Hit the Button and Timestable Rock Stars are great for improving recall of the times tables.

Cookie & Cake- We have a cookie and cake sale every Friday morning. This is to raise money for our school fund and all items are priced at 50p. Payment is via the app.
