Religious Education

HOLY WEEK!

As we are not in school for Holy Week I would like to point you in the direction of resources that have been provided by Liverpool Archdiocese. Please take some time over the Easter holidays to  have a look and maybe reflect on the Easter Story and how at this time more than any other we may understand the meaning of sacrifice for the good of others. If any children want to write a prayer or take a picture of their worship / drawings then please email them to school for my attention and I will publish them on the website. Have a Holy and safe Easter x Miss Mawtus.

Religious Education at St George's

Here at St George's, we follow the Come and See Programme of Religious Education as recommended by the Archdiocese of Liverpool.

We place a high value the Religious Education and Collective Worship in our school and a minimum of 10% of total teaching time is dedicated to the high quality teaching of RE. Our children have the daily opportunity to come together in Worship either as a whole school, phase or class.

Please take a look at our Mission Statement, Policies and photo gallery to see what Religious Education and Collective Worship looks like in our school.
